Welcome to the Fifth Grade
On March 18th we boarded the Captial Corridor Amtrak train to Sacramento. We first visited the Wells Fargo Museum for a hands on, informative presentation on the Gold Rush. Then it was on to the California Railroad Museum for a presentation on the Transcontinental Railroad. Students had the opportunity to experience the building of the railroad first hand. We headed back to Oakland after a glorious, educational, and fun-filled day.
